The celebration of our 100th anniversary continues. This year we teamed up with Wendell
August Forge to offer the Holy Family Christmas ornament. The back is engraved with the
logo that we used at our celebration.
Book Club News: Our next meeting is Wednesday, January 21 at 12 noon in the Parish Library. Our book is The Secret Christmas Library by Jenny Colgan. A mystery with romance and holiday spirit. Join in the discussion. Any questions contact Deacon Owen the Parish Office.
Parish Evening Prayer (online): Please join us at 7pm as we return to Evening Prayer in Community via Zoom. We start at 7pm and pray in community for 20 to 25 minutes. Pro-Life Breakfast
Reservations are available for People for Life’s 48th Annual Pro-Life Breakfast. The event will be held at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center on January 17. Doors will open at 8am and the program—with a buffet-style breakfast—will begin at 9am. Lydia Taylor Davis, national spokesperson and social media coordinator for Students for Life of America, will be the special guest speaker. The cost is $30 for regular reservations and $22 for ages 3-12. Younger children are welcome to attend at no cost. Childcare for all ages will be available. Reservations, due by January 11, can be made online at www.peopleforlife.org/january2026 by calling 814-882-1333 or by mailing or hand-delivering the payment with names and a return address to People for Life, 1625 W. 26th St., Erie, PA 16508.
Change in Online Giving: This is a reminder that Beloved Disciple Parish is no longer using Vanco as our online giving platform. Instead, we are using MP eGiving to provide you with easier and more convenient ways to give. This was a decision made by the Diocese of Erie for all parishes to convert to MP eGiving. The conversion took place on Tuesday, December 2nd. All Vanco donors were transferred into the new eGiving site. All your recurring donations will remain the same; however, if you do wish to change anything you will need to go into the new URL (below) and set up a new account. I understand this may cause some initial confusion but please be patience and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call Mikey Bancroft at 724-748-6700, ext. 100.
